Each month, Mohonk bartenders compete to create a specialty craft cocktail for the resort. They are given one key ingredient, which must be featured in their seasonal creations. July’s key ingredient was cucumber – the perfect ingredient to cool off on a hot summer day in July. A select group of lucky Mohonk employees get to taste, discuss, and vote on the winning “Cocktail of the Month,” which can be enjoyed by guests in the Carriage Lounge among a variety of hyper-local draft beers and New York spirits.
The perfect combination of mint, tequila, and a burst of cucumber flavor to cool off your summer night.

2 oz Patron Silver
1/4 oz Simple Syrup
1 oz Cranberry Juice
4 Green Grapes
2 Thick Slices of Cucumber
1/2 oz Lemon Juice
4 Mint Leaves
Muddle simple syrup, cranberry juice, grapes, cucumber, and mint. Add 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice and 2 oz Patron to glass. Shake ingredients vigorously with ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with fresh mint and cucumber slices.
