Each month, Mohonk bartenders compete to create a specialty craft cocktail for our Hudson Valley resort. A select group of lucky Mohonk employees tastes, discusses, and votes on the winning “Cocktail of the Month,” which can be enjoyed by guests in the Carriage Lounge among a variety of hyper-local draft beers and New York spirits.

American Pharaoh by Kyle Miller

The New Year should always be celebrated in the spirit of extravagance, and what better way to indulge than with bubbly? This Preakness-inspired cocktail takes its name from Triple Crown winner and sire of champions, American Pharaoh. Peach, local bourbon, champagne, and fresh mint mingle while you check the odds. May it bring you luck across the board!
