Nina graduated from Vassar College and earned a doctoral degree in psychology from Princeton University. She is co-author of The Three Minute Meditator (translated into seven languages), Mindfulness in Nature, and MetaPhysical Fitness. Nina taught psychology at the University of Maryland and worked at the American Psychological Association. She has studied mindfulness with Jack Kornfield (founder of Spirit Rock Meditation Center), Sharon Salzberg (co-founder of Insight Meditation Society), and others.
Nina’s work has been featured in The New York Times, Real Simple, Shape, O, the Oprah Magazine, Prevention, and more. She has been recognized with a Women in Wellness Award and serves on the Advisory Board of WellSpa360 and the Breath-Body-Mind Foundation. At Mohonk Mountain House, Nina hosts programs, classes, and offers private sessions, also conducting Three Minute Meditator mindfulness webinars nationally and internationally. She delights in sharing insights about mindfulness and well-being that are designed to be used moment-to-moment In-Real-Life / In-Real-Time.
