Mohonk Scavenger Hunt
$800 
The first team back with the most items on the list correct is the winner; accuracy counts more than speed. Teams will search for answers and complete challenges from around the grounds.

Gnome Hunt
$900 (up to 50 people, additional fee for groups 50+)
Gnomes are the oldest inhabitants of Mohonk, having carved out the Labyrinth and many of our rock formations. Yet, they’re devilishly hard to find! In this event, teams travel to various locations in search of different gnomes. Each gnome presents the group with a challenge that will reveal a secret combination for your next clue.

Treasure Hunt
$800 (up to 50 people, additional fee for groups 50+)
If you love treasure hunting as a kid, you’ll love it even more now! Teams need to work together solving clues to locate the treasure.

Puzzle Quest
$750 – 50 people max
Each member of your group is an integral part of the whole, and that’s what Puzzle Quest is all about! Teams will travel throughout the property solving clues to obtain puzzle pieces. Once each team has acquired all their pieces, all teams work together to complete the puzzle.

Photo Scavenger Hunt
$550 
Take great team pictures all while finding iconic viewpoints of the grounds.

These teambuilding activities bring an element of fun and hands-on engineering skills into the mix. Learn how to work with required resources to achieve a common goal. Discover more about your team’s dynamic through healthy competition.

PVC Road Rally/Ice Rally*
$300 per team/6 people maximum per team
This wild team building event is based on the idea that teams can build a racecar out of PVC pieces that can actually run a course! Be prepared to put on your thinking caps, work together, and have some fun.

Table Top Escape Room
$350 per team/6 people maximum per team
Teams must solve their own series of puzzles, clues, and missing elements to win. All teams are trapped in a room together and running against the clock.

Tricycle Polo
$1200 – 10 people max
This whimsical event will introduce your team to the fast paced and hilarious sport, Tricycle Polo. Competitors will ride three-wheel trike-style bicycles as they chase the marker ball, as well as the opposing team, around the playing field. Teams will be able to substitute players during play for a continuously moving activity. This sport does not reward just the physically fit participant; strategy and execution are the primary ingredients for success.

9 Hole Cornhole

The classic beanbag game with a new twist.  Your team has 9 holes to complete and each new hole presents a new challenge to the group!

Mini-Break Challenges

Rope ties, riddles, puzzles, stretching and more to get your group up and moving between meetings.

Cardboard Boat Regatta
$300 per boat/6 people maximum per team
Teams each build a boat out of cardboard that will race, carrying members to a point on the lake and back.

Last One Standing
$75 per person/$1000 minimum
Compete against the Gamemaster in a series of challenges that will eliminate competitors until a winner is decided. Eliminated players can choose to stay involved in subsequent challenges, this time on the side of the Gamemaster.

Ice Carving*
$400/team – minimum 4 teams
Great activity for recreation or corporate groups, family outings or special couple weekends! With the help of skilled and experienced instructors, each team agrees on a design and creates a sculpture.

Human Ice Bowling*
starts at $850 for up to 18 participants
This event not only has you participating with your teammates but using them as the ball in this unique game of human bowling. That’s right, giant bowling pins, one team member on a saucer sled, and there you have it, a game that will give your team a chance to have fun in a way they haven’t before!

Modified Curling*
$750 per hour for up to 16 people
Played on the ice surface, similar to a giant frozen shuffleboard using genuine curling stones weighing 42lbs. Some flexibility is required. Players must be at least 13 years of age.

Each of these teambuilding activities has the added bonus of supporting a charitable organization and making a positive impact on the world. Improve communication within your team while playing an important role in the lives of others.

Charity Chain Reaction
$400 per team, 6 people max per team
A charity build-off mixed with a bit of competition. Teams will utilize a variety of objects and materials including canned goods and dry food to construct a chain-reaction contraption. Each team’s creation is just one part of the whole though, as the event finishes with a test of all contraptions put together for one big “Chain Reaction”. All canned and dry food will be donated to either a local food pantry or charity of your choice.

Build-A-Buddy
$500 facilitation fee plus $45 per participant
Do you want to brighten up someone’s day? Gather up your friends, coworkers, or family members to make and stuff furry friends for children in need. Find out what wonderful things can happen when people come together with love in their hearts.

You will build state-of-the-art prosthetic hands needed by tens of thousands of people around the world who cannot afford prosthetic devices.

These challenges focus on team building, conflict resolution, and leadership development within your organization. These creative challenges will build professional skills and strengthen camaraderie among your team.

Team Impact Challenges

The trolley, traffic jam, and blind walk, are just a few of the initiatives that are available to you. The success or failure of these games is not as important as what the group learns in the process of participating in each activity. Approximate length is 1½ -3 hours. Available any day or time, indoors or out.

Survival Skills Challenge
$1125 – 18 people max
For countless generations, our predecessors thrived on this land building shelters, hunting, fishing, tracking, and preparing tools and medicines. Reclaiming this ancestral knowledge is not as difficult as you might think and requires only a few ingredients: some raw materials, a fundamental understanding of the laws of nature, and a passionate curiosity for learning. This journey can be a struggle or a dance, depending on your level of skill. In this exercise in group dynamics, you will learn the ‘Basic 3’ elements of survival, and have a lot of fun doing it.

An unforgettable group experience with engaging programs to make wellness a natural extension of your team’s time at Mohonk Mountain House.

Reflecting on positive words throughout the day does a lot for our brains and mental wellbeing. Your team will learn science- based exercises to help them connect to the positive benefits of gratitude. Followed a simple exercise to show gratitude to others.

Art of Aromatherapy

Engage your team with a personalized interactive aromatherapy blending bar experience. Fireside and Candlelight Yoga

House History Tour

An in-depth tour of the Mountain House and the history that goes with it, this tour showcases the Smiley family’s unique vision of this special place and how it has been cultivated over the years. Approximate length is 1 hour.

Group Fitness

Yoga, HIIT, Tai-chi, and more. Find a time for your group to come together in our Fitness Motion Room with one of our certified fitness instructors.

Yoga Hike

Led by one of Mohonk’s expert yoga instructors, your yoga hike will take you through the trails around Mohonk, stopping at scenic vistas to practice short yoga sequences that stretch and strengthen the body and open the eyes, mind and heart. Being outdoors instead of in a yoga studio will encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and focus on your breath and the moment, helping you to experience a deeper and more mindful yoga practice.

Rock Climbing

Things will be looking up for your group when you rock climb on Sky Top–one of the most spectacular cliffs in the country, with over 300 documented climbs. And once you’re at the summit by Sky Top Tower, you can see spectacular views of the Hudson Valley and beyond! All climbs proceed under the tutelage of Alpine Endeavors, the Hudson Valley’s premier guide service.

Survival Skills Session

Join Mohonk’s Naturalist and tracker Michael Ridolfo for a hike through forest and field while learning effective ways to increase your awareness and learn valuable, time-tested survival skills. Our predecessors thrived in this rich and diverse environment, and with a few simple tools you will be reminded of the power and abundance of nature and how it has sustained humans for thousands of generations.

Broomball Session

When the night sky is clear, Mohonk is a great place to view the universe. We have very few lights to wash out the sky. The Big Dipper and other constellations are as bright as can be. This event is available at limited times so please make your requests early. Approximate length is 1½-2 hours. Available during evening hours, any day of the week.
