Mindfulness in Minutes – A Primer for Use in Real Life (Part 1)
Nina offers an approach that brings mindfulness into the ongoing flow of daily life making mindfulness accessible to real people in real lives when they really need it! She will guide you through some simple techniques that will help your brain begin to form a new habit as you learn to observe the mind and become able to respond more skillfully in the moment.

“Forest Bathing”: Mindfulness In Nature
The term “forest bathing” or “shinrin-yoku” has been used in Japanese writings and research to describe the sense of well-being that comes from being outdoors immersed in nature. This unique walk with Nina guides you through wooded trails alongside timeless cliffs to view a panoramic perspective that supports well-being as it nurtures a sense of awe.
Saturday Afternoon – Time on Your Own!
Enjoy the spectacular outdoor setting of Mohonk Mountain House, take a swim in our indoor heated pool, delight in our exclusive Summer Wellness Massage… or do anything else you choose… mindfully, of course!
Singing Bowls: Serene Sounds in the Gardens
Surrounded by the healing sound of singing bowls along with ethereal vocals by Jasmine Harris, you’ll feel the afternoon breeze along with the embracing warmth of a summer day, smell the fresh mountain air, hear birdsongs, and see with “new eyes” as you experience your senses, one moment at a time.
Stargazing Yin Yoga*
Tap into deep sensory awareness as we experience awe in the presence of the majestic night sky. Stargazing Yin Yoga connects the breath with moving meditation. The spaciousness that surrounds us in the magnificence of this mountaintop setting will support the sense of inner spaciousness that comes as we practice mindfulness. *Please note: Sign-up is required. Space is limited, registered overnight guests 18 years of age or older.

Mindfulness in Minutes – Practical, Playful, and Powerful (Part 2)
This session with Nina brings an opportunity to learn how to use mindfulness skills in the nitty-gritty moments of your life! For example, insomnia – is anyone In Search of A Good Night’s Sleep? Minds can be very active – especially at three in the morning. Learn how to use mindfulness to set the stage for sleep. What about Relationships That Really Work? Throughout the day, we’re constantly interacting with other people—family, friends, colleagues… Discover how a mindful approach to relationships can lead to more skillful interactions at home and at work. And Nina will also focus on your most important relationship – with yourself. There will be time to talk about Never Diet Again – a mindful take on weight loss and wellness. This session will empower you to make mindfulness your own and bring it into the flow of your life.
