Labor Day Weekend

Celebrate summer’s end with all the activities you love about the season of sunshine— campfires with s’mores, outdoor movies, archery, live music, crafting, and so much more. Experience a new summer tradition from a different stage, the Mohonk Boat Dock!
Featuring live concerts and performances from our historic Parlor and the Boat Dock. Seating is available in the Mohonk Parlor and Parlor Balcony for viewing indoor performances. Guests can view Boat Dock shows from our rustic summerhouses surrounding the lake, Lake Shore Road, our grand porches overlooking Lake Mohonk from the Parlor or Lake Lounge, as well as most guest rooms with lake side balconies. Guests will also be able to hear the music while strolling through the Show Gardens and from guest rooms with garden side balconies.
Safety Note: If you head out to a Summerhouse or are on nearby paths to listen to the performance, please bring a flashlight and wear proper footwear.

Live Music: Square Dance with John Kirk and Trish Miller

John Kirk & Trish Miller are dance callers and musicians from Saratoga Springs, NY. Singles and couples, experienced and new-comers are welcome to a program of folk dances where ‘having friendly fun’ is what it’s about! Live music is the key to making this an especially energetic and timeless activity. Both John and Trish call dances and play the tunes on fiddle, guitar, banjo and mandolin. No partner or previous experience is necessary!
