“Forest Bathing”: Mindfulness in Nature
9:30am – 10:30am
The term “forest bathing” or “shinrin-yoku” has been used in Japanese writings and research to describe the sense of well-being that comes from being outdoors immersed in nature. During Mindfulness in Nature, Nina will guide you through wooded trails, alongside timeless cliffs, and around our crystal-clear lake. Embrace your senses with this unique experience as you begin your day with a gentle amble that may begin to change the way you perceive yourself and the world.
Well Beauty + Grooming: Exploring the New Frontier of Skin Wellness
11am
The evolution from synthetic, petroleum-based ingredients to plant-based clean beauty alternatives has given rise to a new movement in the beauty and grooming industries – well beauty. In this session, industry expert Mike Bruggman and brand owner/CEO of the One Well World portfolio will explore the connection between beauty and wellness and discover that beauty is far more than skin deep. A wellness lifestyle is key to leveraging topical applications to look and feel your best at any age!
Lakeside Immersion followed by Yin Yoga*
2pm
Start with an invigorating dip in Lake Mohonk for the benefits of cold therapy, providing endorphin release, blood flow stimulation, joint and muscle pain relief, and an immediate energy boost. The plunge is followed by hot cider or tea. Following your Lakeside Immersion, a clear-mind, calm-heart meditation indoors with Yin Yoga will conclude your immersion experience.
*Please note: sign-up is required for registered overnight guests 18 years of age or older. Space is limited.
Mindful Mixology*

Adding mindfulness to mixology, we invite you to fully experience the senses as you co-create some cocktails with us! Learn how using botanical flavors in simple syrup and/ or adding a touch of fruit will change the profile of a drink as you create your own cocktail, noting as subtle shifts in taste develop along the way. Join Nina and Natasha Stanton, Mohonk Mixologist, to explore your personal palate as you play with some classic cocktails – mindfully, of course! *Note: Pre-registration is required with a $45 per person program fee for admittance to the tasting.
