Your overnight stay at Mohonk Mountain House includes three gourmet meals, unlimited activities, nightly entertainment, access to explore Mohonk’s extensive trail network, and much more. Overnight guests are entitled to complimentary greens fees for a round of golf at the Mohonk Golf Course, guided house history tours, and resort amenities such as our award-winning Victorian Show Gardens and beautiful indoor pool. Yes! Guests are welcome to visit the Mountain House with an advance spa or dining reservation. Explore our day guest packages and plan your day trip to the Hudson Valley’s most iconic resort. Please note that Mohonk Mountain House is private property and our Gatehouse team will only allow guests with advance reservations onto the resort property.

Guest rooms do not traditionally include TVs but are available upon request. To request, please contact Guest Services at 845.256.2016. Their suites and guest rooms in Grove Lodge do include televisions.

Value Rooms are a category of room type at Mohonk Mountain House. Value Rooms feature timeless furnishing inspired by our rich history dating back to the Victorian era. Every Value Room is unique and may vary in size, location, & décor. Fireplace and balcony are not guaranteed.

Deposits for reservations that are cancelled, shortened or rescheduled are subject to forfeiture if notice is given less than 7 days’ prior to arrival. Cancellations made with more than 7 days’ notice will receive a full deposit refund, less a $50 cancellation fee. If the reservation is over a holiday weekend, or for a large party, 14 days’ notice is required*. Deposits are charged at the time of booking and are equal to the first night’s room rate.

Mohonk offers complimentary self parking for overnight guests who arrive by car.

Bus service is available on Adirondack Trailways from Port Authority to the New Paltz Bus Station. Our Guest Services staff can provide transportation from the bus station in New Paltz to our resort. For pickup at the bus station, please call our Guest Services department at 845.256.2016 at least 24 hours in advance.

Train Service is available via Metro North and Amtrak trains to the Poughkeepsie Train Station. Taxi and rideshare services from Poughkeepsie train station to our resort are available.

We also offer private transportation through the All Transportation Network. Please call our Guest Services department at (845) 256-2016 to reserve private car transportation.

Pets are not permitted at Mohonk Mountain House. Only service animals that meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act will be allowed on the resort property.

Yes! Mohonk Mountain House installed four complimentary Charge Pro EV Charging Stations in mid-summer 2015, welcoming new technology to the mountaintop for our guests. As the United States Electric Vehicle industry has grown, so has the number of Mohonk Mountain House guests driving “All-Electric” and “Extended Range/Plug-In” vehicles. These complimentary charging stations, accessed via our Guest Services staff, are designed to make it easy and convenient for our guests to charge their electric vehicles during their visit to the resort.

Check-in at Mohonk Mountain House begins at 4pm and check-out is at 12pm. A valid government-issued photo ID and major credit card are required upon check-in.

Yes, Mohonk Mountain House guests enjoy complimentary high speed wireless internet in public areas of the Mountain House as well as each of our guest rooms, cottages, and suites.

Yes, you may leave luggage with the Guest Services team adjacent to the lobby before your check-in time or after your check-out time to continue enjoying our property. You will be given a luggage claim tag to present once you are ready to pick up your luggage.

Foliage season runs throughout the month of October in the Hudson Valley; however, peak foliage is typically between the second and third weeks of October, depending on the location.

Fall foliage season is a beloved tradition for New Yorkers and Mohonk Mountain House is regarded as the best destination in upstate New York for fall foliage hiking with our extensive private trail network featuring sweeping views of the Catskill Mountains and Shawangunk Ridge.

Mohonk offers something for every stay, regardless of what time of year you visit. We offer activities such as live evening entertainment, campfires, hiking, and wellness sessions throughout the year. During the summer, guests can boat or swim in Lake Mohonk. Our mountaintop turns into a winter wonderland with our ice skating pavilion, and groomed trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
