Each month, Mohonk bartenders compete to create a specialty craft cocktail for the resort. They are given one key ingredient, or theme, which must be featured in their seasonal creations. This month’s key ingredient was “Otto’s Athens Vermouth” cocktails. A select group of lucky Mohonk employees get to taste, discuss, and vote on the winning “Cocktail of the Month,” which can be enjoyed by guests in the Carriage Lounge among a variety of hyper-local draft beers and New York spirits.
My Big Fat Greek Spritzer
The “My Big Fat Greek Spritzer” is a refreshing cocktail that takes you away to a sun-drenched afternoon by the Adriatic.

Ingredients
1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
1/2 oz. Honey Syrup
1/2 oz. Hendricks Gin
1/2 oz. Lillet Blanc
1/2 oz. Otto’s Vermouth
Prosecco
Cucumber and Dill
Method
Muddle dill, cucumber and honey. Add alcohol, shake and double strain into champagne flute. Top with Prosecco and garnish with cucumber wheel and dill sprig.
