Mohonk Mountain House celebrates the winter season by dedicating the entire month of February to the beloved warm beverage: hot chocolate! Enjoy the splendor of a snowy winter getaway to Upstate NY with us on the mountaintop while sipping a sweet, chocolatey drink.
One Marshmallow or Two?
Nothing beats an old-fashioned hot chocolate on a nice wintry day, but have you ever tried a s’mores hot chocolate? What about a hot chocolate float?
Now you can! At our Gift Shop & Soda Fountain, guests will be able to try a number of creative hot chocolate drinks that will have guests wanting to taste them all.

On weekends, when you venture outside to our Ice Skating Pavilion, we’ll have a complimentary hot chocolate bar with an array of fun and festive toppings to make every cup more exciting for kids and adults alike.
Hot Choctails
Of course, we didn’t forget about our boozy recipes! Try hot chocolate on an entirely different level for those of you on the adventurous side. Our beverage team will be showcasing hot chocolate concoctions that will leave little room for dessert. Found only at this venue, the Carriage Lounge will feature an exclusive beverage, Red Wine Hot Chocolate, as well as a chocolate-themed cocktail of the month.
Certain chocolatey drinks will be available for guests who are dining with us. During dinner service, a menu of boozy hot chocolate drinks will be displayed. A hot chocolate bar will be available at the dessert Action Station for guests dining during lunch service.
