1. Rock Scramble
Maneuver through boulders and cliffs in our famous Labyrinth and Lemon Squeeze experience. Similar to an adventure course, the Rock Scramble is one of the most memorable activities you will partake in here at Mohonk. After climbing ladders and squeezing through rock formations, you’ll arrive on a ledge near Sky Top Tower and witness the breath-taking views of Mohonk.
2. Tomahawk Throwing (yes, seriously)
An age-old survival skill now a growing trend across the country, Tomahawk Throwing involves skillfully throwing a tomahawk at a set target. Step outside of your comfort zone and learn the art of tomahawk throwing from our experienced staff!
3. Archery
Could you be the next Zen Archer? You’ll learn the basic mechanics of target shooting as well as familiarizing yourself with shooting techniques and scoring methods. Practice your aim and learn new tips and tricks to be the best archer on the mountaintop!
4. Yoga (try it on Lake Mohonk!)
If you’re looking for a change of pace, enjoy a yoga session with one of our experts. With several styles available, like Hatha yoga and Yin yoga, we encourage our guests to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Some of our guests even take on the challenge of practicing yoga out on Lake Mohonk! You can surround yourself with the natural beauty of Mohonk and practice your balancing skills on one of our paddle boards while you do “warrior pose”! Whether it’s in the studio or on Lake Mohonk, this activity puts you in a serene, peaceful setting that you can’t get anywhere else.
5. Horseback Trail Rides and Carriage Rides
Step back in time with a classic carriage ride and admire Mohonk’s scenic views from the trails. If you are feeling adventurous, join us on a horseback trail ride guided by one of experienced staff as you explore the grounds of Mohonk. Our incomparable scenic carriage rides and horseback trail rides are relaxed, family-friendly, and traditional, making them perfect for a laid-back day.
