Experience a kaleidoscope of color as our historic castle resort’s Show Garden “springs” to life with over 30,000 vibrant red, yellow, pink, and purple delights. Enjoy Tulip Festival events like our daily garden tours, Floral Tea & Cookies, and more.
Day Pass entries are valid from 9am – 3pm, regardless of the time slot selected. You may stay until dusk on your selected date. Available to purchase 72 hours prior to the selected date.
Pass Details
The Tulip Pass Includes:
- View 30,000 Tulips in Mohonk Mountain House’s Show Garden
- Access to the Mountain House, grounds, and open hiking trails
- Self-parking at the House (Lot B)
- Afternoon Floral Tea & Cookies – Mohonk’s long-standing tradition of Tea & Cookies 4pm – 5pm
- Tulip Festival Schedule of Events

Important Notes & Policies:
- Day Passes are valid for the entire day, regardless of the time slot selected.
- Tulip Passes must be purchased online. Please be prepared to show an email confirmation to the Gatehouse attendant upon your arrival.
- The Tulip Pass is non-refundable and available for booking on a first-come, first-served basis 72 hours in advance of your planned arrival date. For example, the earliest a Friday pass can be purchased is the Tuesday prior.
- The Tulip Pass entry is valid from 9 am to 3 pm. You may stay until dusk on the date of your confirmation.
- The Tulip Pass does not give guests access to the Mohonk Spa, Fitness Center, or indoor pool.
- Pets are not allowed on our private property.
- Tulip Passes are subject to availability and limited quantity.

A Tour through the Tulip Gardens
dAILY AT 11AM
Join a member of our Garden Staff for a morning stroll around this season’s show garden of 30,000 Tulips. Learn about the techniques and planning required to complete this complicated endeavor. Meet at the Lake Lounge to then head outside.
Guided Nature Hikes
Daily at 10am & 2pm
Explore the beauty of spring in full bloom with our Guided Nature Hikes. Led by our knowledgeable naturalist & recreation team, these scenic walks invite you to discover Mohonk’s vibrant landscapes as tulips begin to blossom and the surrounding forest comes to life. Along the way, you’ll learn about local flora, wildlife, and the rich natural history of the Hudson Valley.
Campfires, Marshmallows & Music
Join local musicians for an evening of music around the campfire while roasting a delicious marshmallow treat!
Demonstrations, Crafts & More!
Draw like Van Gogh in Mohonk’s art workshop, craft a pressed flower bookmark, or create a whimsical spring flower crown with blooms and greenery!
Music during Afternoon Tea & Cookies
daily at 4pm
Mohonk’s long-standing tradition of tea and cookies will be accompanied by pianists from across the Hudson Valley.
House History Talks & Tours
Learn about the 157-year history of the Mountain House. Join a member of the Mohonk staff or the Smiley family for a brief history of the Mountain House. Great for first-time guests!
