Natalie Merchant
Natalie Merchant has toured extensively and collaborated with a diverse array of artists on stage and in the studio including: Billy Bragg, Philip Glass, David Byrne, The Chieftains, Tracy Chapman, Mavis Staples, and Ladysmith Black Mambazo. Throughout her entire career Merchant has been dedicated to supporting a variety of non-profit organizations by lending both financial support and raising public awareness. Scenic Hudson, Riverkeeper, Association to Benefit Children, The Fresh Air Fund, and The Center for Constitutional Rights, Doctors Without Borders, Tibet House, Greenpeace, and Planned Parenthood are among the social justice groups to which she has been devoted. In 2007, Merchant served a five-year term on New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA). In 2013, she spearheaded an effort to stop the advance of hydraulic fracturing in New York State with a concert-protest film, Dear Governor Cuomo. Merchant used the same format to address the domestic violence crisis in the Hudson Valley with Shelter (2014). She is currently artist-in-residence with Head Start, developing a music and movement curriculum for pre-school aged children in The Hudson Valley.

Dan Micciche
Dan Micciche is the current Music Director and Conductor of WICKED on Broadway and has been with the show for over 9 years – including the national and international tours. Prior to WICKED, Dan began his acting career on Broadway as the youngest actor to play Mary Sunshine in the Tony Award winning revival of CHICAGO. He performed in 2000 shows across 125 cities as a part of the Broadway, US national tour, Canadian tour and, the Japanese, Alaskan and Thailand companies. In 2008 Dan performed as a soloist in Bernstein’s MASS at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center and the United Palace. He was the first male to record the male soprano solo in “I Don’t Know” which was nominated for a 2008 Grammy Award NAXOS. As an accomplished conductor and performer, Dan has led workshops and masterclasses across prestigious academic and industry institutions including: University of Michigan, The Boston Conservatory of Music, Berklee School of Music, NYU, Pace, Notre Dame, Eastman School of Music, Otterbein University as well as schools in Peru, Mexico and Switzerland.

Nicole Zuraitis
Nicole Zuraitis, a 2X GRAMMY Winning Jazz singer-songwriter and producer, is also a New York-based bandleader and the winner of the prestigious 2021 American Traditions Vocal Competition Gold Medal. With a “heart as big as her remarkable voice,” Nicole has established herself as one of the top artists and “prolific songwriters” to watch in jazz and beyond, having released five albums as a leader and her sixth album, “How Love Begins,” co-produced with eight-time Grammy winner Christian McBride, in July 2023. In addition to leading her quartet, she serves as the premier vocalist for the Birdland Big Band and frequently headlines iconic NYC jazz clubs like Dizzy’s Club at Lincoln Center, Birdland, and the Blue Note. Nicole’s career highlights include being a featured soloist with various symphonies and supporting iconic singers like Melanie, Morgan James, and Darren Criss on piano and vocals. She’s collaborated with luminaries such as Christian McBride, David Cook, and Antonio Sanchez, and is a proud educator currently on vocal faculty at NYU, SUNY Purchase, and the Litchfield Jazz Camp. An ardent activist, Nicole aligns her music releases with causes she supports, exemplified by her album release coinciding with a self-produced music festival and day of activism for Save the Sound.Org.

Edmar Castañeda & Andrea Tierra
Edmar Castañeda, a Colombian-born harp virtuoso, has redefined the role of the harp in jazz with his groundbreaking technique and heartfelt creativity. Nominated for a Latin GRAMMY for his album Family, Castañeda fuses the spirit of Latin American rhythms with the improvisatory freedom of jazz. His talents can also be heard in Disney’s Encanto, where he performed on the soundtrack and served as a music consultant alongside Lin-Manuel Miranda. Since arriving in the United States in 1994, he has collaborated with music legends such as Wynton Marsalis, Bela Fleck, Hiromi, and Paco de Lucía. Castañeda’s latest project, Viento Sur, features a dynamic ensemble of international musicians and showcases his ever-expanding musical vision. Widely praised by NPR and The New York Times, he captivates audiences around the world with his astonishing artistry and unmistakable sound.
Andrea Tierra, a singer-songwriter from Medellín, Colombia, crafts an innovative fusion of popular Latin American rhythms and the poignant essence of her own poetry. Her contralto voice shines in contemporary love ballads, progressive anthems, and new-age compositions, with each performance bringing her lyrical creations to life. In her latest project, Lluvia de Amores, Andrea introduces a quartet that blends exotic instruments like the Colombian tiple with rhythms from across Latin America and Spain, infused with a distinct New York flair. Internationally recognized, she has performed across Europe, the United States, and Latin America, celebrating the rich culture of her homeland. Andrea has graced renowned stages such as Jazz at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, and the Montreal Jazz Festival, among others.

Kara Lindsay
Kara Lindsay has appeared on Broadway: Wicked (Glinda), Beautiful (Cynthia Weil), Newsies (Katherine Plumber), Original Cast/ Fathom Events Film, Once Upon a Mattress (Winnifred Standby for Sutton Foster). Keri René Fuller
Keri René Fuller has appeared on Broadway: SIX (Jane Seymour), Jagged Little Pill (Ens.); Waitress (Francine, Jenna u/s); Tour: Cats (Grizabella); TV: Law & Order: SVU (Snowflake). Regional: title of show; Murder Ballad (Sara), Dogfight (Rose), Les Miserables (Eponine), Lizzie Borden (Lizzie), A Chorus Line (Maggie), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Rachel), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Helena), Titus Andronicus (Lavinia), The Winter’s Tale (Perdita). She has been a part of numerous workshops and readings all over NYC and continues to pursue new and groundbreaking works. Rockabilly Riot
Rockabilly Riot is the high-octane trio born from the nationally acclaimed Rock This Town Orchestra, the #1 tribute to the Brian Setzer Orchestra and the Stray Cats. Fueled by the same spirit and showmanship, the trio delivers a stripped-down, hard-hitting dose of rockabilly, swing, and early rock ’n’ roll. Their parent band, Rock This Town Orchestra, is known for its explosive live shows featuring a powerhouse horn section and timeless hits like “Rock This Town,” “Stray Cat Strut,” and “Jump, Jive & Wail.” With a catalog that spans legends from Elvis to Sinatra, the full band brings vintage music to life with theatrical flair and unmatched energy. Together, they introduce the golden era of American music to new generations while honoring its legacy. Whether in full orchestra form or as this fiery trio, the Rock This Town family always brings the house down.

Scott Chasolen & Lauren Fox
Scott Chasolen, is an acclaimed New York City musician, renowned for his dynamic blend of raucous, retro-minded keyboard pop. As Keyboard Magazine praises, “Raucous, retro-minded keyboard pop… Chasolen melds classic keyboards such as the Minimoog, Clavinet, and Rhodes with hooky choruses and deft band interplay.” With a career spanning 25 years, Chasolen has solidified his reputation as a pianist/keyboardist, composer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and music producer, captivating audiences with his innovative approach to music. Alongside his solo pursuits, he is an integral member of touring bands such as ulu, The Machine, Beginnings, and AM Gold, infusing each performance with his unparalleled talent. Grounded in a deep understanding of jazz theory and performance, Scott earned a BFA degree from New School University, further enhancing his musical foundation and ensuring his continued impact on the contemporary music landscape.
Lauren Fox is a multi-talented individual known for her prowess as an actress, singer, writer, breathwork facilitator, and restaurateur. Her tribute shows on the music of icons like Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, and the rock and roll groupies of the 60s and 70s have garnered critical acclaim across clubs, performing arts centers, and even in London. With accolades including MAC, Bistro, and Nightlife awards, Lauren’s versatility shines through her work on stage, screen, and in print, including the world premiere of Norris Church Mailer’s play, “Go-See,” in London’s King’s Head Theater. Not only a creative force in entertainment, Lauren’s screenplay, “Atlas of the Soul,” is in development at a major studio, showcasing her storytelling prowess. Alongside her sister Haley, Lauren co-owns Alice’s Tea Cup, a beloved teahouse with multiple locations in New York City, while also co-founding Alchemy of the Elements, bringing healing breathwork, shamanic meditation, and ritual practice to a global audience.

Rhett Miller
Rhett Miller is perhaps best known as the front man of the Dallas-based alt-country band the Old 97’s, although he has also pursued a critically acclaimed solo career. Formed in 1993, the Old 97’s built a devoted following with their brash blend of country and power pop influences, making a splash with 1995’s Wreck Your Life, which won the group a brief stay on the roster of Elektra Records, a period kicked off with one of their finest hours, 1997’s Too Far to Care. In his solo career Rhett has captured attention, as a literate songwriter training his eye on such subjects as fatherhood, sex, and love.

Scott Robinson
Scott Robinson, one of today’s most wide-ranging instrumentalists, has been heard on tenor sax with Buck Clayton’s band, on trumpet with Lionel Hampton’s quintet, on alto clarinet with Paquito D’Rivera’s clarinet quartet, and on bass sax with the New York City Opera. On these and other instruments, he has been heard with a cross-section of jazz greats representing nearly every imaginable style of the music, from Braff to Braxton. His discography now includes more than 190 recordings. Scott has performed in some 30 nations, in such diverse venues as Carnegie Hall, the Village Vanguard, the Library of Congress, and the Vienna Opera House. Scott’s group was selected to be the closing act at the Knitting Factory’s Sun Ra Festival in New York City. Scott has also written magazine articles and liner notes, and was an invited speaker at the Congressional Black Caucus Jazz Forum in Washington, D.C.

Charlie Franklin
Charlie Franklin has appeared in the original Broadway casts of Floyd Collins, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, and The Bridges of Madison County. Other Broadway/NY credits include The Book of Mormon, Tom Sawyer in Big River at Encores City Center, and Young Soldier/Frankie Epps in Parade at Lincoln Center (MCP). Regional credits include Mr. Green in Clue at Stages St. Louis (Theater Circle Award nom.), Dickon in The Secret Garden at Shakespeare Theatre/5th Avenue/TUTS, and Ralph in Lord of the Flies at The Denver Center. TV credits include Shades of Blue, The Loudest Voice, and Succession.
