Angela Jia Kim
Angela Jia Kim, a former award-winning concert pianist, discovered her passion for skincare after a severe allergic reaction to a “natural” lotion onstage. Inspired by the Korean beauty rituals she grew up with, she began crafting luxurious organic products in her kitchen using ingredients like champagne, caviar, and truffles. What started as gifts for friends quickly turned her into an “accidental entrepreneur.” Today, she runs holistic facial spas in New York City and upstate New York, while continuing to develop products in her Beauty Kitchen with her team of Savor Spa Estheticians. Through her Dollars & Scents initiative, she empowers women reentering the workforce with training and skills to handcraft fresh creams in the Hudson Valley. Angela lives on Manhattan’s Upper West Side with her daughter, Sienna, and their mini golden, Zoe.
