Immunity-Boosting Yoga and Mindfulness
Help support balance and boost immunity with a blend of yoga poses designed to improve your physical and mental well-being. As this session ends, Nina will guide you in a way of being mindful that will bolster your mind-body connection during the winter season.
Serene Sounds – Singing Bowls*
As you gather on the deck surrounding our indoor swimming pool, this practice invites you to relax as it ignites your senses of sight and sound. As you gaze upon the calm, illuminated waters, enjoy the healing harmonic sounds of the singing bowls. This symphony of illumination and sound will help to ease tension and promote well-being. As we continue our focus on immunity, Nina returns for a bedtime meditation to conclude our evening.
*Please note: sign-up is required for registered overnight guests 18 years of age or older. Space is limited. Attendees will be seated around the swimming pool, not in the water. Comfortable clothing is advised.
Live Music with Daniel Kelly Trio
Vocalist Sofia Kelly radiates a depth of artistry and musical maturity well beyond her 15 years of age. Having performed as a guest vocalist with her father, Daniel Kelly, at Mohonk for many years (and most recently at NYC’s historic jazz venue, Birdland) this concert will be Sofia’s debut at Mohonk as a headliner showcasing her modern twist on musical theater and jazz. Prepare to be transported on an exciting musical adventure by this impressive father-daughter duo expanded by Brooklyn all-star jazz drummer Rob Garcia.
SATURDAY
“Forest Bathing”: Mindfulness In Nature
The term “forest bathing” or “shinrin-yoku” has been used in Japanese writings and research to describe the sense of well-being that comes from being outdoors immersed in nature. During Mindfulness in Nature, Nina will guide you through wooded trails, and alongside timeless cliffs. Embrace your senses with this unique experience to fend off the “winter blues” and maintain a positive outlook while strengthening your immune system.
