Mid-Hudson Valley artists established Wired Gallery in May 2012 with the mission to show works. Pop in to see the local art that highlights the beautiful landscape of the Hudson Valley and purchase a gift!
Hiker’s Holiday Welcome Reception: Our National Historic Landmark

Join fellow hiking enthusiasts as Nell Boucher, Mohonk’s Archivist shares the legacy of the Mountain House and surrounding lands throughout its 150-year long history.
Around Lake Mohonk (1 mile/45 minutes)

Take in the beauty of Lake Mohonk as our hike leaders give us a layout of the immediate property.
Campfire, S’mores, & Music

Join guitarist Kevin O’Connell for an evening of family fun and songs by the campfire while roasting a delicious marshmallow treat!
Live Music with Wind & Stone

Enjoy the intimate setting of our Carriage Lounge with a cocktail and smooth sound from one of Mohonk’s favorite duos, Wind & Stone.
Autumn Night Hike (1 mile/1 hour)

Enjoy the beautiful evening mountain air on this casual hike to Cope’s Lookout. We will depart the Mountain House watching and listening for sights and sounds of the night – stars, planets, satellites, owls, coyotes, whippoorwills, and more.

Hiking the Northwest Region: Embracing Stewardship (2.5 – 3 miles / 2 hours)

This hike through the Shawangunk Ridge encompasses breathtaking views of the Catskill Mountains, the Mountain House, and Mohonk Preserve. Experience the beauty of the Clove Valley side of the Ridge with sweeping vistas, and as we return to the Mountain House, be enchanted by the majestic sights, reaffirming our dedication to preserving this natural wonder through Stewardship of the Shawangunk Ridge.
Hiking West and East: Avian Admiration (4 – 4.25 miles / 2 hours)

On this captivating adventure to Cope’s Lookout, we will take notice of the fascinating bird migration patterns along the way, adding an exciting dimension to the hike. The journey continues around the impressive Smiley Tower, guiding us through the Mountain House’s grand estate via carriage roads and some of the finest hiking trails this area has to offer.
Fireside Beers and Games with Yard Owl Brewery
5pm – 6pm
James and Joe from Yard Owl Brewery join our hikers to welcome in a crisp autumn evening with beer, games, and fireside fun.
After Five Jazz Combo

After Five Jazz Combo, directed by Jason Clinton, is an energetic group of talented musicians that perform throughout the Hudson Valley. Come enjoy Jazz, Swing, and Rhythm and Blues.

Join us for our final hike aimed at educating and sharing the captivating beauty of the Shawangunk Ridge with everyone. From Eagle Cliff Road to Sky Top Tower, revel in captivating vistas of Sky Top, Lake Mohonk, and the Mountain House, fostering a deeper connection to this remarkable landscape.
