Wired Art Gallery
10am – 6pm
Mid-Hudson Valley artists established Wired Gallery in May 2012 with the mission to show works. Pop in to see the local art that highlights the beautiful landscape of the Hudson Valley and purchase a gift!
History of the Mohonk Summerhouses
4:30pm
Join fellow hiking enthusiasts as Nell Boucher, Mohonk’s Archivist shares the history behind the Mohonk summerhouse, its iterations through the years, and the famous faces across history whose names adorn several of them.
Around Lake Mohonk

Take in the beauty of Lake Mohonk as our hike leaders give us a layout of the immediate property. Leisurely, ¾ mile.
Campfire, Marshmallows, & Music

Join guitarist Melinda DiMaio for an evening of family fun and songs by the campfire while roasting a delicious marshmallow treat!
Stargazing and Night Orienteering
9pm
Enhance your navigation skills under the guidance of Mohonk Preserve Ranger and Medical Specialist, Josh Betts, who will teach you to find your way using the night sky. Discover and identify constellations while mastering the art of night orienteering.

Sunrise Hike to Sky Top Tower
6am
Experience Sky Top Tower in a new way and join Mohonk Preserve’s Director of Visitor Experience Andrew Bajardi and Chief Ranger Dan Cassidy for a sunrise hike to the highest point on the Mohonk Mountain House property.
Wired Art Gallery

Pinnacle Ledge Tour*
10am – 12pm
This Mohonk guided walking and rock scramble tour will explore several historic footpaths along the Sky Top ridge, east of Lake Mohonk. This trail has mixed topography and features an aerial bridge walkway and sky ladder.

Anglers’ Hour: Reeling In Tonight’s Dinner*
10:30am – 12:30pm
This one-day only special allows you to catch tonight’s dinner right from Lake Mohonk and prepared to your liking by Mohonk’s Culinary Team! *Please note: fish must be a minimum of 16 inches long, and caught between the hours of 10:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. on Saturday September 14. $18.00 pole rental, $5.00 for a dozen worms, $4.00 for a dozen power bait.
Rock Scrambling to Eagle Cliff

Hikers will bask in the breathtaking bird’s-eye view of Lake Mohonk, Sky Top Tower, and the Shawangunk Ridge from Eagle Cliff. Led by Mohonk Preserve’s Associate Director of Conservation Science & Research, Megan Napoli, Chief Ranger, Dan Cassidy, as well as Kim Tischler, Education Coordinator for Student Programs, this adventure includes three unique rock scrambles: Cathedral Path, Arching Rocks, and Eagle Cliff Ascent.

Scoop the Goop: Exploring Lake Mohonk

Discover the fascinating diversity of aquatic life that thrives beneath the surface of Lake Mohonk. Join Lauren Borer and Ashawna Abbot, Mohonk Preserve’s Education Coordinator for Public & Youth Programs and Education Outreach Coordinator respectively, at the water’s edge and safely collect, investigate and identify creatures that call the lake.
