Activities by Age
The ideal destination for a family getaway, there are tons of exciting things for kids to do at Mohonk at any age.
Ages 2-3
- Feed the fish
- Explore the formal garden
- Go on a row boat or canoe with and adult
- Introduce the fun of lawn games; shuffle board, croquet, or bocce
- Enjoy our playground
- Visit the koi fountain
- Enjoy the beach and splash around in the lake (through September 11)
Ages 4-12
- Play tennis with your family
- Go on a hike or rock scramble with your family
- Guided hikes for ages 7 and up
- Go fishing with your family from a boat or along the shore
- Evening outdoor movies
- Join in on the daily family activities
- Pick up a craft kit (one per child)
- Putt on our 18-hole putting green
- Play a round of golf with an adult
- Make a s’more at our evening campfire
Ages 13+
- Enjoy the beach by yourself or with friends or family
- Take out a rowboat or canoe
- Go to a tomahawk or archery session
- Scramble on 3 different rock scrambles
- Join in on the daily mountain bike tour (For ages 16+. Bring your own bike or rent one from our Recreations team.)
- Play 18 holes of disc golf (Bring your own disc or purchase one from the Bike Shop)
