Reservations Required
Reservations are required and can be made beginning 28 days prior to the date of your meal. At Mohonk Mountain House gratuities are included in your rate.

Dining reservations may be canceled up to 48 hours prior to your reservation for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the reservation time, as well as no-shows, are non-refundable.

What is the dress code for each restaurant?
Our venues allow for relaxed, resort casual attire. Appropriate attire includes slacks, well-kept denim, dress shorts, and collared shirts. Athletic wear, swimwear, t-shirts, tank tops, and flip flops are not permitted.
Does Mohonk offer options for special dietary needs and food allergies?
Yes, with advance notice, our chefs are happy to accommodate dietary needs. Most dining venues offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. An allergy-friendly menu is also available upon request. Kosher meals are available with advance notice.

Do I need a reservation to visit Mohonk Mountain House for dining?
Yes. All-day guests must have a confirmed dining reservation to access the property. Dining reservations are available for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and select seasonal dining experiences. Please note that casual dining and beverage venues, including the Carriage Lounge and seasonal Spirits on the Porches, are available to guests with a dining reservation and are not accessible as standalone walk-in destinations.
Can I visit the Carriage Lounge or Spirits on the Porches without a dining reservation?
To access Mohonk Mountain House as a day guest, a confirmed dining or spa reservation is required. Guests are welcome to enjoy the Carriage Lounge, seasonal Spirits on the Porches, and other public areas, but these venues are not available as standalone walk-in destinations.
Do I need to leave a tip when dining at Mohonk Mountain House?
A gratuity is included with your dining reservation, allowing you to relax and enjoy your experience from arrival to dessert. Should you wish to recognize exceptional service, additional gratuities are welcome but never expected.

Who can use the Mohonk Sports Center?
The Mohonk Sports Center is available for overnight guests and day guests. Whether you’re staying at Mohonk or visiting for the day, you’re welcome to stop by to explore recreation offerings, browse Mohonk Outfitters, and enjoy available amenities. Available activities and amenities vary by guest type.

Do I need to reserve activities ahead of time?
Some activities require advance reservations, while others are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are required for Via Ferrata, Pinnacle Ledge Tours, tennis, and pickleball.
For activities like lawn games, disc golf, basketball, and self-guided bike rentals, reservations are not required and equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests may also rent bikes for the day to explore the property at their own pace.

Can I rent equipment at the Sports Center?
Yes. The Mohonk Sports Center offers equipment rentals for many activities, including tennis, pickleball, mountain biking, e-biking, and winter recreation. Helmets and other necessary equipment are available for select activities.
What is available at Wheelworks?
Wheelworks, located inside the Mohonk Sports Center, offers mountain bike and e-bike rentals. Guests can choose from self-guided adventures or guided mountain biking experiences through Mohonk’s scenic carriage roads and trails. View our daily activities schedule for guided bike rides.
What tennis and pickleball facilities are available?
Guests can reserve court time at our tennis and pickleball facilities located near the Sports Center. The courts include four Har-Tru clay tennis courts, two new hard courts, and three new pickleball courts. Equipment is available on-site, and private lessons are also available. Are food and drinks available at the Sports Center?
Yes. Guests can relax at the Sports Center with grab-and-go refreshments, including light fare and a selection of local canned beer and cider available for purchase.
Is shopping available at the Sports Center?
Yes. Mohonk Outfitters is located inside the Sports Center and offers athletic apparel, outdoor gear, and recreation essentials to help guests prepare for their adventures. We also offer select retail items in our Wheelworks Bike Shop & our Via Ferrata shop, located on the ground floor of the Sports Center.
What can kids do at the Sports Center?
Kids can enjoy a variety of recreational activities at the Sports Center, including tennis, pickleball, basketball, lawn games, disc golf, and playground access. Equipment is available for select activities, making it easy for families to spend time outdoors and enjoy active adventures together.
What activities are included for overnight guests at the Sports Center?
Overnight guests of Mohonk Mountain House enjoy access to a variety of recreational activities at the Sports Center, including tennis, pickleball, basketball, lawn games, playground access, disc golf, and seasonal winter recreation. Equipment for select activities is available at no additional charge.
Additional fees apply for certain experiences, including Via Ferrata, Pinnacle Ledge Tours, and mountain bike/e-bike rentals. Mohonk Outfitters merchandise and food and beverage purchases are also available for an additional cost.
What is included for Summer or Winter Sports Pass holders at the Sports Center?
Sports Pass holders have access to select recreational activities at the Sports Center, including tennis or pickleball, basketball, lawn games, playground access, and disc golf. Equipment is available for select activities. During the winter season, Pass holders have access to winter recreation equipment, including snowshoes, cross-country skis, and micro spikes for winter hiking.
Mountain bike and e-bike rentals are available for an additional fee. Via Ferrata and Pinnacle Ledge Tours are exclusively available to overnight guests of Mohonk Mountain House and are not included with the Sports Pass.
What activities are available for Hiking Day Pass guests?
Hiking Day Pass guests are welcome to enjoy select Sports Center amenities, including basketball, lawn games, and playground access. Guests can also browse Mohonk Outfitters and enjoy grab-and-go refreshments, including light fare and beverages available for purchase. Additional recreation options, including winter activities, may be available for an additional rental fee. Availability varies by activity and season.
