Music abounds as the mountaintop summer comes to a close, welcoming a dynamic lineup of compelling and genre-spanning artists. Our weeklong festival highlights a vibrant range of musical expression, featuring acclaimed singer-songwriter Natalie Merchant, American Idol finalist Drew Angus, and Broadway star Julie Benko alongside award-winning pianist and composer Jason Yeager. From intimate performances to lively late-night sets by the lake, each evening offers a unique soundtrack to the season’s final days.

Natalie Merchant
Natalie Merchant has toured extensively and collaborated with a diverse array of artists on stage and in the studio including: Billy Bragg, Philip Glass, David Byrne, The Chieftains, Tracy Chapman, Mavis Staples and Ladysmith Black Mambazo. Throughout her entire career Merchant has been dedicated to supporting a variety of non-profit organizations by lending both financial support and raising public awareness. Scenic Hudson, Riverkeeper, Association to Benefit Children, The Fresh Air Fund, and The Center for Constitutional Rights, Doctors Without Borders, Tibet House, Greenpeace, and Planned Parenthood are among the social justice groups to which she has been devoted. In 2007, Merchant served a five-year term on New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA). In 2013, she spearheaded an effort to stop the advance of hydraulic fracturing in New York State with a concert-protest film, Dear Governor Cuomo. Merchant used the same format to address the domestic violence crisis in the Hudson Valley with Shelter (2014). She is currently artist-in-residence with Head Start, developing a music and movement curriculum for pre-school aged children in The Hudson Valley.

Drew Angus
Drew Angus is a singer-songwriter whose music feels both timeless and deeply personal, blending nostalgic influences with a modern sensibility. Raised on the sounds of Tom Petty, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones, his style draws comparisons to artists like John Mayer, James Taylor, and Chris Stapleton. After gaining national attention as a finalist on American Idol—where Jennifer Lopez praised him as “a real talent”—he quickly established himself as a compelling live performer. Drew has since shared the stage with icons including Stevie Nicks, Harry Styles, and Nile Rodgers, while also opening for artists like Noah Kahan. His original music showcases a gift for lyrical intimacy and melodic craftsmanship, highlighted by his breakout single “Made to Love You,” which has surpassed one million streams. Drew has also reached millions online with his soulful collaboration on “(Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay” alongside Marc Broussard. Whether performing for a packed crowd or an intimate audience, Drew Angus delivers a heartfelt experience filled with connection, storytelling, and songs that resonate long after the final note.

Julie Benko
Julie Benko is an actor, singer, and writer based in New York City, fresh off her run as Emma Goldman in the Broadway revival of Ragtime at Lincoln Center. She rose to national prominence with her remarkable understudy-to-star turn as Fanny Brice in the Broadway revival of Funny Girl, performing the role over 180 times and earning widespread acclaim. For that performance, Julie received the Theatre World Dorothy Loudon Award for Excellence in the Theatre and was named the 2022 Breakout Star for Theater by The New York Times, in addition to being included in Variety’s 10 Broadway Stars to Watch in 2023. Her Broadway credits also include originating the role of Ruth in Barry Manilow’s Harmony, as well as appearances in revivals of Fiddler on the Roof and Les Misérables. She has starred in major regional productions across the country and recently made her film debut in the independent feature Caravan. A celebrated vocalist, Julie has released multiple albums—including her newest, Euphonic Gumbo—and has performed at premier venues such as Café Carlyle, Birdland, and Carnegie Hall. A Gold Medalist and Johnny Mercer Award winner, she holds both a BFA and MFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and continues to expand her creative work as a playwright and writer.

Jason Yeager
Jason Yeager is an award-winning pianist and composer whose music draws inspiration from sources as varied as Kurt Vonnegut, Thelonious Monk, and Latin American folk traditions. An imaginative soloist, bandleader, and sensitive collaborator, he has released eight critically acclaimed albums, including Sanctuary (2024), a collaboration with jazz violinist Jason Anick. In 2022, he released two projects: Hand in Hand with his wife, Broadway star Julie Benko, and Unstuck in Time: The Kurt Vonnegut Suite, featuring his septet and guest Miguel Zenón. His work has been featured in DownBeat, The New York Times, JazzTimes, and The Boston Globe. Jason has performed across five continents at renowned venues including Carnegie Hall, Birdland, the Blue Note, and the Panama Jazz Festival, as well as on Broadway. In addition to leading his own ensembles, he has appeared on over 40 recordings and collaborated with artists such as Sean Jones, Luciana Souza, and George Garzone. An honors graduate of the Tufts/New England Conservatory Double Degree Program and the Berklee Global Jazz Institute, he is currently an Associate Professor of Piano at Berklee College of Music and a Lecturer.

Lauren Fox
Lauren Fox is a multi-talented individual known for her prowess as an actress, singer, writer, breathwork facilitator, and restaurateur. Her tribute shows on the music of icons like Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, and the rock and roll groupies of the 60s and 70s have garnered critical acclaim across clubs, performing arts centers, and even in London. With accolades including MAC, Bistro, and Nightlife awards, Lauren’s versatility shines through her work on stage, screen, and in print, including the world premiere of Norris Church Mailer’s play, “Go-See,” in London’s King’s Head Theater. Not only a creative force in entertainment, Lauren’s screenplay, “Atlas of the Soul,” is in development at a major studio, showcasing her storytelling prowess. Alongside her sister Haley, Lauren co-owns Alice’s Tea Cup, a beloved teahouse with multiple locations in New York City, while also co-founding Alchemy of the Elements, bringing healing breathwork, shamanic meditation, and ritual practice to a global audience.

Scott Chasolen
Scott Chasolen, is an acclaimed New York City musician, renowned for his dynamic blend of raucous, retro-minded keyboard pop. As Keyboard Magazine praises, “Raucous, retro-minded keyboard pop… Chasolen melds classic keyboards such as the Minimoog, Clavinet, and Rhodes with hooky choruses and deft band interplay.” With a career spanning 25 years, Chasolen has solidified his reputation as a pianist/keyboardist, composer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and music producer, captivating audiences with his innovative approach to music. Alongside his solo pursuits, he is an integral member of touring bands such as ulu, The Machine, Beginnings, and AM Gold, infusing each performance with his unparalleled talent. Grounded in a deep understanding of jazz theory and performance, Scott earned a BFA degree from New School University, further enhancing his musical foundation and ensuring his continued impact on the contemporary music landscape.

Jack Petruzzelli
Jack Petruzzelli is a seasoned touring and recording musician. As a multi-instrument performer, producer and songwriter, he has had the privilege of working with a variety of artists that include Patti Smith, Ian Hunter, Joan Osborne, Rufus Wainwright and Sara Bareilles, to name a few. In the studio, Jack has collaborated with platinum artists to unknown sensations. He co-produced Joan Osborne’s album Bring It On Home, which was nominated for Best Blues album of the year at the 2012 Grammy Awards. He is a founding member of The Fab Faux, a critically acclaimed nationally touring Beatles tribute band (that doesn’t dress up).

Cindy Cashdollar
Cindy Cashdollar grew up in Woodstock, New York. Cashdollar is an old local family name. Her great-uncle Albert Cashdollar was the Town Supervisor and the family ran Locust Grove Dairy. The whole musical community watched as Cindy’s talent swiftly grew on the Dobro and then lap steel as she played with everyone in town during the late 1970s and ‘80s, The demand for her musical touch led her to touring and performing regionally with local Woodstock luminaries Levon Helm, Rick Danko, bluegrass singer John Herald, blues legend Paul Butterfield, and folk heroes Happy & Artie Traum. However, in 1992 her restless musical quest took her to Nashville where she met and landed a job with America’s premiere Western Swing group Asleep At The Wheel, leading her to Austin. Expanding her instrumental prowess to the steel guitar, Cindy’s taste and style added to the band’s sound as she toured and recorded with them for nine years. During her time with the band she had the chance to collaborate with legends such as Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton and Lyle Lovett, among others, and won five Grammys. Upon leaving AATW to once again engage in a wider variety of music, the names of those who sought her out and hired her to add fire and sweetness to their music are lifted out of the record books: Ryan Adams, Bob Dylan (on his Grammy winning Time Out of Mind album), Van Morrison, Dave Alvin, John Sebastian, Rod Stewart, Albert Lee, Sonny Landreth, Marcia Ball, Rory Block, Jorma Kaukonen, Leon Redbone, Peter Rowan …and on and on. She was the first woman to be inducted into the Texas Steel Guitar Hall Of Fame, also inducted into the Texas Music Hall Of Fame, and has been a nominee for Instrumentalist Of The Year by the Americana Music Association. In 2022 the revered Country Music Hall Of Fame and Museum added Cindy to their “Nashville Cats” roster, which honors side musicians for their contributions to recordings and live performances.

Jeremy Stolle
Jeremy Stolle is a recording artist and acclaimed concert performer best known for his long-running role in Broadway’s The Phantom of the Opera. His theater credits also include Disney’s pre-Broadway production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, where he appeared as Jehan on the original cast recording, as well as productions of Beauty and the Beast, Camelot, Jekyll and Hyde, and The Scarlet Pimpernel, for which he received an Elly Award for “Best Actor in a Musical.” As a concert artist, Jeremy has performed with symphonies and performing arts centers around the world, including appearances with the Indianapolis Symphony, Pacific Symphony, Birdland, and 54 Below. His solo concert, No More Talk of Darkness, has captivated audiences nationwide with its blend of Broadway favorites and theatrical storytelling. In addition to his stage career, Jeremy has built a devoted online following as a recording artist, with millions of streams on Spotify and album sales in more than 30 countries.

Satomi Hofmann
Satomi Hofmann is a Broadway, film, and television actress, singer, musician, voice-over artist, and music director based in New York City. Her Broadway credits include The Phantom of the Opera Closing Cast, while her screen appearances include Knock at the Cabin, Law & Order: Organized Crime, Mare of Easttown, and FBI: Most Wanted. Satomi has also appeared in acclaimed theatrical productions including The Lodger and Legacy of the Tiger Mother. In addition to her work on stage and screen, she is an accomplished composer, arranger, cabaret artist, and podcaster. Her versatility and dynamic artistry have made her a sought-after performer across multiple mediums.

Arri Lawton Simon
Arri Lawton Simon is an award-winning writer, performer, and educator based in New York City. A versatile artist and teacher, he serves on the steering committee of the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop and has lectured on dramatic writing at universities and conferences nationwide. His performance credits include appearances at New York City Center Encores, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center. Arri is also faculty at Professional Performing Arts School and Rosie’s Theater Kids, in addition to maintaining a private voice studio. His work reflects a deep commitment to both performance and arts education.
