Join local art historian and gallerist Sevan Melikyan for an exploration of Vincent van Gogh's most productive years in Provence. During his time in Arles and later at the asylum in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Van Gogh created many of his most celebrated masterpieces despite his debilitating illness, including the iconic The Starry Night.
Sevan Melikyan, a member of the Smiley family, was born in Istanbul and educated in France. He is the owner and curator of Wired Art Gallery in High Falls, and leads cultural tours in his native Istanbul and France.
