Our castle resort will be decorated for the season with trees, festive wreaths, and plenty of cheer, making it the best destination for your Christmas vacation. In addition to special events listed below, enjoy family-friendly activities happening throughout the day like holiday craft kits, ice-skating in the pavilion, taking a self-guided Christmas tree and Gingerbread tour around the Mountain House, and witnessing the magic of our Winter Lights display.

Build a Buddy Event
Purchase and stuff your own plush animal. Kits are to go or you can stuff on site. $30 per kit. Bears, reindeer, and more to choose from!
Holiday Movie Night – “The Nightmare Before Christmas”

Get ready for the Smiley Trim-A-Tree event this evening and make a one of a kind ornament. Ornament craft kits will be available for pick-up at the Front Desk. One per person.
Yule Log Hunt
Join for this fun Christmas Trivia Hunt! Teams must complete the scavenger hunt, get their final clue, and then bring back the bow that’s hidden with the Yule Log. Whoever finds the Yule Log first will get to light it with the Smiley Family at the Trim-a-Tree Party tonight!
Cookie Decorating
Indulge and explore your creative side while decorating this holiday treat.
NYCA Victorian Carolers
Afternoon Tea features mulled cider and delicious treats while the NYCA Victorian Carolers bring the sights and sounds of Dickens’ Era to life.

David Darwin, One-Man Sideshow
Dave presents a laugh-a-minute show of juggling with original comedy and even music. Dave’s act will thrill you with whip cracking, plate spinning, lasso, ball spinning, unicycle and more! And be prepared to laugh yourself out of your seat as Dave juggles, dances and sings with both legs behind his head in an act that earned him an appearance on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent”.
