Evening Movie: ‘Maleficent’

Rated PG. 1 hour 37 minutes, 2014. In a peaceful forest kingdom, the kind-hearted and beautiful Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) lives a serene life. When a foreign army threatens her homeland, she steps up as its strongest defender. However, after a devastating betrayal, her heart hardens, leading her to seek revenge. In her quest for retribution, she curses the newborn daughter of the invading king’s heir, Aurora, only to later realize that the child may hold the key to restoring harmony to the kingdom.
