Mohonk loves children, and children love Mohonk! We have an innovative program just for our guests ages 2 - 12. Our goal in the Mohonk Kids' Club is to "let kids be kids", providing an attractive, safe, and enjoyable environment that offers a memorable experience for children, while allowing parents to relax during their visit. Parents and children alike rave about the Mohonk Kids' Club, and the exciting, fun activities it offers. The Mohonk Kids' Club is located in the Council House, just beyond the putting green. The Mohonk Kids' Club is complimentary to overnight guests and is open year-round with sessions offered on:

• Saturdays: 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  and 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  There is also an evening program for children
  age 4 -12 on Saturdays from
  7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
• Sundays: 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  From mid-June to Labor Day, the Mohonk Kids' Club is available seven days a week from
  9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and
  2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• There is also an evening program for children
  age 4 -12 seven days a week during this time period.

The Kids' Club is grouped into the following age groups:

Tykes
(2-3 years old)

For our 2- to 3-year-old guests, the Tykes’ Room is equipped with a wide selection of toys, including a play castle, kitchen set, wagons, rocking horses, trucks, blocks, puzzles, arts and crafts, and much more. Our enthusiastic staff will lead the Tykes in art, sing-alongs, dramatic play, and storytelling. The summer season is an especially nice time for Tykes to enjoy “furry friend” hikes, pony rides, boat rides, splashing at the beach, and visiting the playground. Our goal is to let children experience Mohonk’s natural setting and enjoy fun-filled activities at an early age.

Explorers
(4-6 years old)

The Explorers’ Program allows our 4- to 6-year-old guests the opportunity to take part in activities and make new friends within a defined age range. After the get-acquainted period, the morning and afternoon sessions will have several main activity choices. Children are grouped according to their interests and abilities. Depending on personal interests, the more active child may choose hiking and a frog hunt in the morning, while another child may pick swimming and arts and crafts.

Adventurers
(7-12 years old)

The Adventurers’ Program caters to the needs and interests of our older Mohonk children. Our 7- to 12-year-old guests have the opportunity to explore their own interests, skills, and needs, within a smaller group. Activities available to the Adventurers include rock scrambling, tennis and golf clinics, orienteering, team building, and sports tournaments. In addition, the Adventurers’ own suggestions will be incorporated into the daily schedule in response to their varied interests.

Teen Scene
(13-17 years old)
With many of our younger Mohonkers "graduating" from the Mohonk Kids' Club, our Activities Staff has designed special summer activities, events, and explorations with teenagers in mind! During July and August, our 13-17 year-old guests will enjoy mountain biking, rock scrambles, golf and tennis clinics, day-long hikes, and more. In the evening, teens can check out the Teen Lounge-- a special place where teens can listen to music, watch movies, play games and make new friends. All Teen Scene activities are fully supervised and offered to overnight guests only.
