Sky Top Tower at Mohonk Mountain House

A stunning vista with spectacular views awaits! Available to overnight and day guests at Mohonk Mountain House−view six states from Sky Top Tower, reachable by hiking trails or carriage roads beginning at Mohonk Mountain House. The current Sky Top Tower was erected in 1923 as a memorial to Mohonk’s founder, Albert Smiley. A plaque within states “erected in grateful memory of a man whose exalted character and useful life stand as a beautiful example to mankind.”

Mohonk Preserve

Showcasing some of the most diverse natural landscapes in the region, the Mohonk Preserve protects and manages over 8,000 acres of mountain ridges, forests, fields, streams, and ponds in the Shawangunk Mountains. Walkway Over The Hudson

Walkway Over the Hudson is a linear walkway spanning the Hudson River. At 212 feet tall and 1.28 miles long, it is the longest, elevated pedestrian bridge in the world. Bikers, runners, skaters, and dog walkers are all welcome. The Walkway is designed to allow year-round use, revealing something unique and beautiful every season.
