Mohonk Mountain House is a National Historic Landmark resort located just 90 miles north of New York City. Overnight rates include breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and cookies, and most activities, including hiking, boating, tennis, midweek golf, and use of the indoor heated swimming pool and fitness center in our Spa wing.

Friday, October 7

9:00 p.m.  Campfire with S'mores
Join us for a fun night of songs by the campfire. S’mores too!


Saturday, October 8

8:30 a.m.  Archery
Join an Activities staff member on the range for a hands-on introduction to archery, focusing on safety, awareness, and basic target skills. Ages 13 and up for up to 25 people. All participants must go through a 15-minute safety protocol at the beginning of the session, which cannot be repeated if missed.

11:00 a.m.  Corn Hole Tournament
Come one and all for some family fun. Teams of two will compete in round-robin play, followed by a single-elimination tournament.

3:00 p.m.  Around the World at Mohonk!
Go on a little voyage of your own in and out of the House to discover treasures of Mohonk from across the globe. Family activity. 

9:00 p.m.  The American Songbook: An Exploration of the Greatest Songs of the Last Half Century
Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Rhett Miller takes a stroll through the greatest songs of the modern era. From Ella Fitzgerald to Bob Dylan, The Kingston Trio to Carole King, Paul Simon to Tom Petty...This set of songs will celebrate the marriage of melody and lyric that took root in Tin Pan Alley, blossomed in the Brill Building and serves as the soundtrack to our lives.


Sunday, October 9

7:30 - 8:45 a.m.  Sky Top Nature Hike
Please join Naturalist Michael for this beautiful and informative hike, rich with cultural and natural history and astounding views - if the weather allows! 

9:30 p.m.  Tomahawk Throwing
Please join a member of our staff for this fun and challenging survival skill. Ages 13 and up, for up to 40 participants. Closed-toe shoes are required. All participants must go through a 15-minute safety protocol at the beginning of the session, which cannot be repeated if missed.

1:30 p.m.  Archery
Join an Activities staff member on the range for a hands-on introduction to archery, focusing on safety, awareness, and basic target skills. 3:00 p.m.  Pickle-Ball® and Kan Jam Mixer
​Join one of the Recreation Staff for doubles play. Pickle-Ball® is a racquet sport which combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Kan Jam is the ultimate frisbee game! Similar to disc golf, this outdoor game is the perfect activity that encourages exercise, improved coordination skills and friendly competition without physical contact.

9:00 p.m.  Casey Carle
Bubblemania! Bubbles, juggling, and comedy for all ages.


Monday, October 10

7:30 a.m.  Mountain Pie Hike
Join us for a guided hike around the lake followed by mountain pies, a tasty treat composed of bread and pie filling then roasted over an open fire. Proper footwear is required.

10:15 a.m.  History of the Sky Lakes
Please join a member of our staff for this informative hike as we explore the natural and cultural history of Lake Mohonk and vicinity.
