Smaller Weddings

Mohonk Mountain House is an ideal setting for small weddings in upstate New York. Parties of 75 guests or less can  enjoy an intimate New York wedding that includes a delicious three-course meal with selections from the traditional menu in our Main Dining Room. (Private ceremony and reception locations require a minimum number of overnight accommodations at Mohonk Mountain House. Please call to inquire.)

Small weddings can be enhanced by additional options such as a cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvre, wedding cake, special linens, flowers, or entertainment. Our Wedding Coordinator will be pleased to discuss these with you.

Create your own Mountaintop Memories by customizing our wedding services to fit your needs. Make it as simple or as elaborate as you want! Delight in a private lunch buffet following a Garden ceremony, indulge in a sophisticated cocktail-style reception with dancing and a dessert buffet, or a simply stunning private ceremony with just the two of you surrounded by the majesty of nature on our mountaintop.

  • Late Afternoon ceremony
  • Cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvre is an option, at additional charge. The Parlor Porch overlooking Lake Mohonk provides the perfect backdrop for your cocktail hour ($275 room rental fee; tax is additional). View sample Hors d'oeuvre menu
  • A Private bar can be set up for a maximum of 3 hours (including cocktail hour), at additional charge. View sample beverage menu
  • Evening reception and dinner in either the Main Dining Room with other guests (for groups up to 48 people), or choose a private reception in our newly renovated East Dining Room (for groups up to 75 people, subject to availability).  There is a $175-$275 Room Rental fee for the East Dining Room (tax is additional).  Dinner is  plated meal chosen from the menu that is being offered in our Main Dining Room. With 30 or more people, a fixed menu is offered. The fee for dinner is $63 per person (tax, a 15% gratuity, and a 3% taxable wedding administrative charge is additional, per person for day guests. For day guests and overnight guests, an $8.00 taxable wedding administrative charge per person will also apply.) View sample dining menu
  • Private Dinner and Reception in the East Dining room may have music until 10:30 p.m. The East Dining Room is available for use until 11:00 p.m.
  • Buffet lunch at $57.75 or Sunday Brunch at $61.00 is also an option, (tax and a 15% gratuity, plus a 3% taxable wedding administrative charge is additional, per person for day guests. For day guests and overnight guests, an $8.00 taxable wedding administrative charge per person will also apply.) There is a $275-$375 Room Rental fee for the East Dining Room buffet (tax is additional). View sample buffet lunch menu
  • $400 ceremony site fee (tax is additional and  all ceremonies must be followed by a reception or meal for your group).
  • You may book 30 days or less in advance (With 5 overnight rooms, booking may be done anytime--based on availability.)
