Crossword Puzzle Editor Will Shortz is our host, along with “Words” founders Gloria and Larry Rosenthal. Along with a plethora of puzzles, this weekend includes:
- David Kwong: Drawing on his talents as a magician and as a crossword puzzle creator, David Kwong will amaze guests. He recently designed all the illusions for the forthcoming film Now You See Me, starring Woody Harrelson, Morgan Freeman, and Mark Ruffalo—he personally taught the actors how to perform the magic in the film!
- Scott Freiman: one of the country’s leading Beatleologists, will deconstruct The Beatles’ lyrics for us— how they were written, what they mean, and why they have such enduring appeal.
- Greg Pliska: award-winning composer and NPR quizzicist will create another incredible Mohonk Treasure Hunt where teams work together to solve a set of interconnected puzzles and follow the clues hidden throughout the Mountain House.
- Tim Brooke: founder and director of the Endangered Alphabets Project, Tim provides a remarkable visual tour of lost an disappearing alphabets.
