Traditional Dining
Most evenings, dinner at Mohonk Mountain House is a traditional served meal. Our award-winning chefs create delicious, innovative menus featuring the finest regional ingredients and provide “Sound Choice”® alternatives for our health-conscious guests. At times when many children are in House a children’s buffet is also available. Alcoholic beverages, featuring our extensive award-winning wine list, as well as specialty coffees, are available for an additional charge. Reservations are required.

Mohonk DinnerFest Buffet
In addition to our traditional dinner, we offer a casual, self-served alternative—the Mohonk DinnerFest Buffet. The DinnerFest features a variety of freshly prepared items. Served in one of our three dining rooms, the DinnerFest includes carving stations, an array of entrées, an extensive dessert buffet, and more. Our popular children’s buffet is also available.
Note: Our traditional menu is available upon request when making your dinner reservation. Alcoholic beverages, featuring our extensive award-winning wine list, as well as specialty coffees, are available for an additional charge. Reservations are required.

    6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Seasonal from late June to early September, holidays, and many Friday
    and Saturday evenings year-round. (Please inquire about availability.)
  • Attire
    Casual attire is appropriate for dining at our upstate New York resort. Shirts and footwear required. Not acceptable are hats, tank tops, swimwear or running shorts, and ripped, torn or frayed clothing.

Mohonk Formal Dining
Offered to overnight guests as a formal alternative to the Mohonk DinnerFest Buffet. Mohonk Formal Dining is available to guests ages 7 years and older, and is a traditional served meal. Alcoholic beverages, featuring our extensive award-winning wine list, as well as specialty coffees, are available for an additional charge. Reservations are required. Seating is limited.

  • Attire
    Mohonk Formal Attire: Jackets are required for gentlemen ages 12 years and older. Dress slacks or skirts, dress shirts or
    blouse and dress shoes required. Not acceptable are hats, athletic tank tops, swimwear, T-shirts, sneakers, sweat suits, running shorts, and ripped, torn, or frayed clothing.

Children’s Buffet Dinner
Our Children’s Buffet offers kid-friendly food such as pizza, burgers, macaroni and cheese, pasta, hot dogs, and chicken tenders, as well as fruit, salads, granola bars, and dessert. This flexible dining experience allows children ages 4 to 12 years to attend our seasonally scheduled evening programs in our Kids’ Club.

Seasonal Outdoor Dining
Seasonally, we offer a variety of dining options, including our sumptuous Evening Lobster Cookout at The Granary overlooking Lake Mohonk.

Dinner  will be served in one of our three dining rooms, located on the ground and first floors of the Mountain House.

Reservations are required for Traditional Dining, Mohonk Dinnerfest Buffet, Mohonk Formal Dining, and Seasonal Outdoor Dining.

Cell Phones
Please do not use cell phones in areas that might disturb other guests, including dining rooms and the Spa.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in guest rooms or anywhere else inside the Mountain House.

Special Note:

  • Since our largest tables accommodate up to 12 people, parties with more than 12 guests will be seated at two or more tables.
  • Arrangements may be made to seat parties with more than 12 people in a private room (when available) at an additional cost.
  • We try to accommodate requested seating arrangements whenever possible. Requests are noted, but not guaranteed. Reservations are for the time only and do not guarantee a particular table or dining room.
  • Any additional charges for items not included in a meal plan, such as alcoholic beverages, must be paid separately at time of consumption or billed to your room.
